Scottish Cycling in conjunction with Grampian Tigers are running the Cycling Award for Young Volunteers (CAYV) programme on the 12th June 2016 at Knockburn Loch.
We currently have four young volunteers who have been helping out with coaching and are going to become qualified and registered with Scottish Cycling as Young Volunteers through the CAYV programme, As part of their development as Young Volunteers they are required to deliver an assessed coaching session to other members of Grampian Tigers and as such I’m looking to get 6 riders to come along to Knockburn Loch on Sunday 12th June between 12.30pm and 3pm to receive some coaching from the Coach Volunteers in the afternoon.
This is a great opportunity to help out some fellow club members develop as coaches and also give the riders an insight into the opportunities that are available to them to become volunteers through the CAYV programme when they become 14yrs or older, who knows they could end up becoming the next Dave Brailsford and coaching Team Sky or the Santa Cruz Syndicate!
If riders wish to come along can they respond by e-mail along with the completed attached form to myself please?
