Kingdom Crits – who fancies it?

Screenshot 2016-02-20 18.24.12I’ve really really enjoyed the past few weeks of coaching up at Dunnottar Woods. The riding is getting up to a really high quality and I’ve seen my group develop in speed, stamina, technique and ultimately skill. From what I hear, the other groups are making fantastic progress too.

I mentioned the Kingdom Crits race series last week and promised to put it on the website. Well here are all the details. I’ll check the calendar but I think I should be able to go to most, except Kircaldy, and support riders. I’m sure other coaches will be able to make some of the others.

24/04/16 Mukyriderz, Glenrothes
15/05/16 Cyclones, Dunfermline
05/06/16 Middleden, Kirkcaldy
12/06/16 Meedies, Lochore (with end of series celebration)

The Kingdom Crits website seems to be a bit out of date but they also have a Facbook page which is where I got the dates from.

The races are really friendly (I’ve marshalled there before) and suitable for all abilities from 6 – 18. It’s a great way to get into off-road racing if you’ve never done it before.

If you want to give it a go then talk to a coach at one of the sessions and we’ll try to get there to provide support, motivation and fine snacks.

Grampian Tigers have the skills and attitude needed to really give the other clubs a run for their money. Let’s show them what we’re made of!

Charlie 🙂
