Grampian Tigers sessions begin this Saturday 16th Jan at 11:15 for a sharp start at 11:30. For seasoned members, we are going to try to do bike checks in small groups before 11:30. You should all now be confident in checking your own bikes before the session begins. We’d like to try to get riding as close to 11.30 as possible.
This is a great opportunity for new members to join. New Tigers will need to be prepared to get muddy and dirty! So, tell your friends – especially the ones that got shiny new bikes for Christmas!
This 6-week block will have more of a focus on fitness. We’ll be doing more riding around Dunnottar woods and will be picking up the pace as the weeks progress. We’ll still focus on a particular technique each week.
The sessions are designed to be progressive so one technique will lead to another. In order for riders to get the most out of the sessions, it would be great if they tried to attend all sessions in a block. For example, if we are working on climbing and you missed the previous sessions on gears, it’ll be hard to get the most out of the session.
See you on Saturday, Dunnottar Woods, 11:15. Dress for the weather and bring a snack for after. Remember helmets and gloves.
